Armacell 520 Adhesive 500ml

Armaflex 520 Adhesive is a high-performance adhesive based on modified chloroprene rubber, combined with flammable solvents. With a low viscosity, it offers ease of application and rapid drying, making it particularly effective for joining Armaflex flexible elastomeric insulation and bonding it to clean, prepared surfaces. Once dry, Armaflex 520 Adhesive becomes non-flammable and maintains the excellent water vapour resistance associated with Armaflex materials.

Ideal for both flat and curved metal surfaces, the adhesive is suitable for applications requiring temperature resistance up to 180°F (82°C). It complies with Military Specification MIL-A-24179A, Amend-2, Type II, Class 1, and meets 25/50 flammability and smoke development index requirements as per ASTM E 84 Method when tested.

Armaflex 520 Adhesive creates a resilient, heat-resistant bond with various materials where a solvent-based neoprene contact adhesive is required. It is especially effective for sealing laminated aluminium foil and kraft paper vapour-retarder jackets.
