DuPont AirGuard® A2 Fire Retardant AVCL is a high-performance airtight vapour control layer (AVCL) designed to enhance moisture management, airtightness, and energy efficiency in buildings, while providing exceptional fire resistance.

This vapour-permeable membrane is versatile and suitable for use on the interior of walls, roofs, and ceilings. It not only supports fire safety but also contributes to improved indoor air quality. Designed for all building types, heights, and proximities, it is also well-suited for high-humidity environments.

For optimal performance, all laps, junctions, and penetrations must be securely sealed. This includes horizontal lap sealing using Tyvek 2060m Tape, which has been rigorously tested as part of a full system in accordance with EN13501-1 by the Prüfinstitut Hoch (Classification Report: KB-Hoch-200148). This ensures reliable airtightness and vapour control, making it an ideal solution for modern building requirements.
