These Forgefix Phillips twin fine thread Drywall Screws feature a zinc-plated finish for enhanced durability. Supplied with a Phillips No.2 insert bit, their Bugle Head design ensures the screw sinks effortlessly into the dry lining without the need for countersinking, minimising surface damage.

Ideal for attaching dry linings to studding.

The zinc coating provides superior corrosion resistance by forming a protective barrier around the metal. If this barrier is damaged, the zinc acts as a sacrificial anode, preventing further oxidation. Unlike iron oxide, zinc oxide does not compromise the integrity of the underlying surface. In fact, it can help protect against additional oxidation, similar to the natural protective layers found on aluminium and stainless steel.

The Phillips screw is designed with four tapered slots, allowing for effective torque application. When excessive torque is reached, the screwdriver tip disengages from the screw, preventing over-tightening or damage to the screw head.

The fine thread screws feature a sharp point, allowing them to penetrate plasterboard easily and drill through thin steel structures, ensuring a secure fit.
