These Forgefix Phillips single-thread drywall screws feature a durable black phosphate finish. They are available in boxes of 500 or 1,000, each including a Phillips No.2 insert bit. The Bugle Head design enables the screw to sink seamlessly into dry lining without the need for countersinking, minimising surface damage.

Application:
Specifically designed for securing dry linings to studwork.

Phosphate Coating:
Phosphate coatings consist of thin crystalline layers of phosphate compounds that adhere to the surface of the fixing or fastener. These coatings, made from zinc, manganese, or iron phosphate solutions, are porous and enhance the screw’s corrosion resistance. Additionally, they improve appearance, abrasion resistance, and the ability to absorb supplementary coatings.

Phillips Screw Design:
The Phillips screw features four tapered slots, designed to work with a Phillips-tip screwdriver. This design allows for increasing torque while preventing over-tightening or damage to the screw head, as the screwdriver tip disengages when excessive torque is applied.
