iKoustic F5 Black Isolation Strip

The Isolation Strip F5 is a self-adhesive rubber crumb strip with a flat profile, designed to isolate structural elements like stud work from adjoining surfaces. This helps to reduce impact noise transmission throughout a building. It is positioned atop joists and beneath subflooring, creating a floating floor system that enhances soundproofing performance.

Stud frames in walls and ceilings also require separation from surrounding structures to minimise structural vibrations passing into the new soundproofed partition. Made from 92% recycled materials, the strip’s flat design is highly effective at isolating vibrations in stud walls. It is also resistant to mould, bacteria, fungi, and water, while maintaining durability under heavy loads.
