Isomass Isocheck Expandastrip Frame Seal 3000mm x 15mm x 16mm to 32mm

Isocheck Expandastrip is an open-cell polyurethane foam, impregnated with chemically stabilised acrylic, and backed with self-adhesive scrim tape.

Remain elastic indefinitely, Expandastrip expands upon application to fill joints, accommodating any imperfections or irregularities. Its flexibility and elasticity make it ideal for use with uneven surfaces, and it is compatible with a variety of materials including concrete, brickwork, steel, plastics, timber, and fibrous materials.

The product is supplied in rolls that are mechanically compressed to one-sixth of their original thickness, with a self-adhesive coating on one side. When fully expanded, it provides a light air baffle. If expanded by just 25% of its compressed thickness, Expandastrip forms a weather-tight seal, protecting against driving rain and wind.

Expandastrip is perfect for sealing joints between precast units, around door and window frames, and between corrugated roofing panels, roof structures, and roof lights, as well as in ventilation and air conditioning ductwork.

It is also suitable for primary or secondary sealing in both vertical and horizontal joints of building facades, metal cladding systems, window perimeter curtain walling, and skylights.
