Isorubber Base is a robust acoustic isolation and vibration reduction mat, primarily designed for use in concrete and timber floor systems to ensure compliance with Approved Document Part E. It is also suitable for general soundproofing and noise reduction applications. Additionally, it plays a key role as the main acoustic element in the Robust Detail E-FC-4 and E-FC-14 systems.

Robust Detail E-FC-4

Robust Detail E-FC-4 is an under-screed acoustic insulation system tailored for precast plank floors. It features Isorubber Base as the resilient acoustic layer beneath a sand & cement or flow screed, along with the Isoedge 6/260 perimeter separation strip and either a Metal Frame or Isosonic acoustic ceiling treatment. This solution is also eligible for pre-completion testing to earn BREEAM credits.

Robust Detail E-FC-14

The Robust Detail E-FC-14 is another under-screed system for precast plank floors, which is the first of its kind to offer 3 Code for Sustainable Homes credits upon registration. These credits can also be applied under the BREEAM multi-residential category, with pre-completion testing required for other BREEAM categories. The system includes Isorubber Base resilient acoustic insulation beneath a sand & cement or flow screed, Isoedge 6/260 perimeter separation strip, and either a Metal Frame ceiling supported by Isosonic Ceiling Cleats or an Isosonic ceiling treatment.

Robust Detail E-FC-18

This system, designed for in-situ concrete floors in multi-storey projects, consists of resilient acoustic insulation beneath a sand & cement or flow screed, with a perimeter separation strip and Metal Frame ceiling treatment. It offers a selection of proprietary under-screed acoustic insulation options, including Isorubber Base, and allows for party walls to be constructed directly off the structural slab without the need for pre-completion testing.

Isosonic Timber Floor

The Isosonic Timber Floor System delivers outstanding acoustic performance for both new build and refurbishment projects. It incorporates Isorubber Base resilient acoustic insulation on a structural timber deck, with mineral wool between the joists and an Isosonic acoustic ceiling treatment below.

Isosonic Basefloor

The Isosonic Basefloor system is an under-screed acoustic insulation and ceiling treatment designed for precast plank, in-situ concrete, steel composite, and beam & block floors, suitable for new-build and refurbishment applications. This system uses Isorubber Base as resilient acoustic insulation beneath a sand & cement or flow screed, Isoedge 6/260 perimeter separation strip, and either a Metal Frame or Isosonic acoustic ceiling treatment. These constructions can also be pre-completion tested for BREEAM credits.

Isosonic Timber Conversions

The Isosonic Timber Conversion Systems offer a range of solutions for acoustic refurbishment. These systems consist of various overlay products, including Isorubber Base resilient acoustic insulation, installed over existing timber floor structures. Mineral wool is placed between the joists, with an Isosonic acoustic ceiling or resilient bar ceiling treatment below.
