Visqueen Vapour Edge Tape 15m x 150mm

This product features a robust polyester film core, sandwiched between two outer layers of foil laminate. It is coated with a cold-weather acrylic adhesive, delivering exceptional bonding strength even in low temperatures. Specifically designed to seal the perimeters of vapour control membranes, such as the Visqueen Fully Bonded Vapour Barrier, it adheres effectively to surfaces including brick, concrete, and timber.

When correctly installed alongside Visqueen Check Membrane (also known as Vapour Control Layers, or VCLs), it helps restrict vapour permeation and enhances the building’s thermal efficiency. As part of Visqueen’s "Build Tight - Ventilate Right" strategy, this system safeguards insulation from condensation damage while improving overall energy performance.

For sealing overlaps in vapour control membranes, we recommend using Visqueen Vapour Tape, which is also available from us. Both products work seamlessly to deliver a comprehensive vapour control solution.
