Zentia Armstrong Flexible Perimeter Trim 2500mm x 29mm x 19mm White

Zentia Armstrong has broadened its range of Flexible Perimeter Trims to offer a new, adaptable solution for installers, providing an efficient option for on-site ceiling installations.

Installers have requested a straightforward, budget-friendly solution where the trims arrive flat-packed in straight lengths and can be curved manually on-site. Armstrong has responded to this demand with an innovative solution.

The steel section is designed for manual curving, allowing it to conform to curved surfaces, thanks to a uniquely notched flange on the exposed face. The pre-applied, elastic 3-ply PVC tape on the exposed side ensures a consistent and uniform surface finish after the bending process.

Zentia Armstrong flexible trims offer a fast and easy way to create curves on-site, though there are specific considerations to keep in mind during installation:

• As flexible trims are decorative elements, any grid installed on them will require additional suspension points. The BPA WDN23G wall hanger is recommended to help support the load above the trim.
• These trims should only be used in curved TOE OUT installations (the 19x29 section must be fitted with the 29mm face vertical).
• Minimum bending radius: 200mm.
• Minimum temperature during the curving process: 20ºC.
• Due to the nature of the PVC coating, these trims may not exactly match the standard black and white colour or gloss levels.
• While CE marked (System 4), it is essential to check national regulations to ensure compliance with fire performance requirements (rated F according to EN 13501-1).
